Victor Lipko
Vice President
My name is Victor Lipko. I have had our New Kingston home since 1989. My wife Francine and I have probably spent more time in The New Kingston valley than anywhere else. In addition to helping with the NKVA, I am also a member of Margaretville Rotary and also Clerk of Session and a Lay Preacher for the Margaretville- New Kingston Church. Although we have an apt. In NYC, most of our friends are here in the valley, which we all believe is the most beautiful place in the world! -
Jack Richardson

Annie Pevear
Secretary
My name is Annie Pevear and I have lived in the New Kingston valley for three years and hope to be here forever! I love exploring the mountains and trails in the valley and helping to organize the NKVA events. I am the Garden Educator at Manhattan Country School Farm and really love seeds. New Kingston is such a special community and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it! -

I have lived here in New Kingston for about 18 years, moved here from Halcottsville with my wife, Cheryl. She passed away in 2013. When we moved up to Halcottsville from NYC I owned a convenience store in Fleischmanns (Saydes Country Store, now Sam's), sold it and worked at the then Hess station on rt. 28 for about a year, then worked as a Life Coach at The Arc of Delaware County in Arkville on the Crossroad (rt. 38), focusing on community connections, a giant impact on my life. Was there for about 12 years before I retired. Keeping busy, on various Bds. (NKVA, the Fairview Library, the Del. Cty., Office of the Aging) staying in touch with family (my daughter, Sayde, lives in New Orleans), and enjoying the wonderful Catskills! Love New Kingston, it's people, and history. Our 200 year old home was once the blacksmith's place, including a large barn (just the stone frame is there, do have pixs of it) and the house across the street that served as a workshop for the horses. -
